“It’s been a hectic few weeks on tour since we last posted.
First was our three dates supporting rock and roll legends Lynyrd Skynyrd.
Getting the opportunity to play with a band that has had the longevity and history that Skynyrd have was an inspiration to us. The rooms were huge and the reception we got from their fans was something that will stick with us for some time, we even sold completely out of our CDs.
Next was a trip to LA for the Yamaha 125 Years celebration and NAMM.
We had a couple of gigs in town before hand, and got to do an acoustic session for Balcony TV, the latter of which was filmed at the wonderful EG Daily’s house in the hills.
The Yamaha show was one of the most incredible nights we have ever been involved in. We were on the bill with Sir Elton John, Earth, Wind & Fire, Toto and Sarah McLachlan amongst others. It was streamed on the internet worldwide, and to be involved in such an event was an honour and a privalege.
Playing on the NAMM stage was no small event either. NAMM is one of the biggest, if not the biggest, music conventions in the world and we were on the main stage. We also bumped into a few familiar faces there as well.
On our last day in LA we were invited to Simon Phillips’ (Toto) studio. Not only an outstanding drummer, Simon was so welcoming and even took the time to listen to our EP.
Our last few shows have been in the State of Ohio. Although it’s been freezing cold here, we’ve had a very warm reception!

We’ve only got three more dates left of this leg of the tour; Huntsville AL, Chattanooga TN, and Johnson City TN. If you’re in the area, come and party with us!
Our second week of tour has passed and, to be honest, it’s flown by. This week we played in Charleston SC, Columbus GA, Knoxville TN, and Atlanta GA.
We’ve played with some brilliant bands this week, from Bully Pulpit’s like minded approach to the blues, to our good friends from the Kiss Kruise II, Radiolucent. Not only that but Tommy was interviewed on radio, just before we heard our single “Let’s Be Friends” played live on air (thanks to Chris at Chaos on The Rocks 106.9). You can hear the interview here: http://chrischaos.net/
We were all in the van driving to a gig when we heard the single on the radio, our first time hearing it being played on air. It couldn’t have been at a better moment. The ethos of this tour is very much “let’s cram in the van, meet as many people as possible and play our arses off” in every town we go to. So to have heard that when we did really solidified what we’ve been doing.
Don’t forget you can buy the EP here:
This coming week we leave The South and head North to support Lynyrd Skynyrd in Morristown NJ, Williamsport PA and Lowell MA! Crazy!
Keep an eye on the Facebook and the Twitter and we’ll post another entry on here in a week.
Keep an eye on the Facebook and Twitter for updates and tour dates, and we’ll speak to you in a week…
Much love to y’all!
This week we’re in Charleston SC, Columbia GA, Knoxville TN and Atlanta GA.
In Knoxville we get reunited with our friends Radiolucent, who we played with on the Kiss Kruise II. If you’re in the area come and party with us all, that’s one definitely not to miss!
Getting to spend a few days in Austin was brilliant. It’s such a music-orientated town, there’s bands everywhere! Weslaco and Shreveport had a lot to live up to after the first few gigs, but a the bands we played with and the people we met meant they definitely held their own…
